Stone healing includes numerous applications that have been used for centuries. Among them is the use of treated water with gemstones, the so-called stone water. Certain gemstones are put into a carafe or a vessel with water and the energetic energy of the stones as well as other components of the stones are supposed to pass into the water. If this water is drunk, it is said to have positive effects on the person. Depending on the gemstone, the effect changes. This effect is not scientifically proven, it is based on experience and observation, like numerous other esoteric treatments with so-called healing stones.
The health benefits attributed to each stone vary greatly. In many stone water recipes, stones are also combined. A very frequently used water stone combination consists of amethyst, rose quartz and rock crystal (amethyst is said to have a harmonising effect on the body / rose quartz is said to have an opening and cleansing effect / rock crystal is said to have a strengthening effect).
Since gemstones or the effect of gemstones is said to influence each other, not all combinations are recommended. Some stones should not be used for stone water, such as turquoise and tiger’s eye. When buying stones, pay attention to the quality of the stones and, in the case of water stone mixtures, to the detailed description of the contents. Use pure spring water (not from plastic bottles). No matter which stones or water stone mixture you choose, all stones should be cleaned and charged with energy before use. (Clean under running water / if necessary disinfect with alcohol / charge with energy in sunlight or moonlight).
Each water stone mixture is also to be designed to serve the personal needs of the individual. The well-being of the individual should be the focus of each application. There are ready-made water stone mixtures that are intended for specific applications. Those who have no knowledge about the effects of gemstones (healing stones) should inform themselves or seek help. As already mentioned, the effect of water stone applications is not scientifically proven, it is based on experience and observation.
Those who want to try this kind of application of gemstones for themselves should observe themselves well during the application and pay attention to changes in the body. Here, too, the dosage is important. Less is sometimes more. Depending on the water stones, even a small glass is sufficient. Water stone water should also be used like a therapy, i.e. take a break after 14 days and see what has changed. If you feel unwell during the application of the water stones, it is advisable to refrain from using enriched water or to change the dosage or mixture. We do not give any recommendations, we only report from experience. In the end, everyone is responsible for themselves.
